Michael Rhodes has been married to Stacia for 11 years and they have two kids, Melanie age 7 and Vance age 2. Currently in Frederick, MD, he is starting his 8th year of fulltime youth ministry which has included a gig in Escondido, CA. He has lived in 6 states and conquered small territories in each of them. These territories are mostly uninhabited, consist of a few square feet each and nobody knows that he rules them…but he does. Michael is inspired by creativity and fresh approaches especially when these are utilized to help someone overcome. He hopes that the words he shares this weekend will do just that.

Jake Kaufman lives in Parkersburg, WV where he gets paid to hang out with students as the Director of Student Ministry at the Belpre Church of Christ. He is a multiple failed blogger, though he looks forward to the day when he will successfully maintain a coherent blog. He has undiagnosed ADD, and he has already forgotten the next sentence that he was going to write in this bio. This also probably has something to
do with the aforementioned failed blogging. Jake enjoys writing, conversations over a cup of coffee, a good book (though he occasionally reads a book all the way through), watching and re-watching episodes of The Office, and snowboarding. His single desire is that his life will make much of God; which is reflected in his passionate communication with students and adults alike.
